Conference Dinner and Reservation

We have booked a lovely restaurant for our conference dinner on Saturday October 3, following the keynote address by Richard Sherwin. The venue is a restaurant with a small castle and a vineyard set on a hill above the town of Morcote on Lake Lugano - Restaurant Alpe-Vicania (See the following website: http://www.alpe-vicania.ch/it/av_hp.php). The three course dinner of traditional seasonal specialties with breads, oils, wines and desserts "fatti in casa" -- homemade -- is partially subsidized by sponsors; it will cost 45 CHF per person to help offset the remaining costs of the dinner and the transportation to and from the restaurant.

While the dinner is open to all conference attendees, the tickets are limited to 50. You can reserve your ticket by writing to the following email: cwiedmer@fc.edu. We will include your ticket in your conference packet and ask you to pay the dinner fee of 45 CHF upon registration. Any remaining tickets can be purchased at the registration desk until Friday October 2, by 19:00 at which time we will need to let the cooks know exactly how many people will be attending.
