Franklin College External Programs

Franklin College Switzerland is an ideal location for your next event, meeting or program. The College is perfectly located in the heart of Europe in Lugano, Switzerland, on the Swiss/Italian border overlooking Lake Lugano, one of the spectacular lakes within the "Swiss Riviera." Lugano is the cultural, recreational, financial and commercial hub of Switzerland's southernmost, Italian-speaking canton of Ticino. Lugano, a sophisticated and safe city, offers dozens of outdoor activities, concert halls, great museums and a variety of shops and restaurants. With Lugano's rail lines, regional airport and proximity to Milan, all of Europe is within easy reach.

During the summer months, Franklin hosts a wide variety of programs for organizations both near and far—college summer-abroad programs, certificate programs, music groups and academic and cultural programs of all kinds. From approximately May 30 to August 12 of each year, the campus is open to nonresidential and residential external groups who choose to live on the campus and experience our beautiful setting, wonderful facilities and an array of food options—from campus dining, catered banquets or receptions to simple coffee breaks. We offer meeting rooms of all sizes, multimedia equipment and recreational facilities. Clients return to our campus year after year citing our spectacular location, comfortable meeting spaces, outstanding residential facilities, attention to detail and, most of all, warm hospitality.

Our Office of External and Special Programs has experience in hosting visiting programs and groups like yours. For more information contact Ford Shanahan, Director of Business Development, at +41 91 986 36 68 or email fshanahan@fc.edu.
