Required Summer Reading
All seminars will discuss the following summer reading as part of the First Year Experience at Franklin. Please purchase and read the book during the summer months prior to orientation. Discussion of Greg Mortenson's novel Three Cups of Tea introduces the seminar theme of crossing borders.
Three Cups of Tea will serve as our first year common text and as a springboard for our Franklin sustainability initiative and several programs in service learning. Get ready to join our active and dynamic community as we launch these exciting, new programs.
