Tuition and Fees

The Franklin College fee structure is subject to change from year to year. Such changes are normally decided upon in the spring. Listed below is the fee structure for the 2010-2011 academic year. For more information on ways to pay, please see Payment Options.

Costs in US Dollars (USD)- Applicable for all US and Canadian nationals and all foreign nationals who are permanent residents in the United States and Canada.

* Please note that housing costs vary depending on the type of residence selected. The housing cost indicated above is an average cost for a shared room for two students or a single room in a multiple apartment shared by three to six students. The meal plan is required for all first year students (freshmen). The cost of the meal plan per semester is $1,460 or CHF 1,600. All Franklin residences have kitchen facilities available, and the meal plan is optional after the first year.

**Swiss law requires that all students have Swiss medical insurance. The cost varies according to the age of the student. For information regarding the cost of Swiss medical insurance for 2010-2011 please see Health and Counseling in the Life at Franklin section of the website.
