Franklin Fund has most successful year ever!

A Franklin student picks olives on a service learning trip. This type of trip was added to Academic Travel options in the past year.

Thanks to the generosity of Franklin's many supporters, the Franklin Fund finished another successful fundraising year on June 30, 2010. The Fund received the most money of any single year in its history, with more than $330,000 in gifts from more than 500 donors. It marks several years of steady fundraising growth in both dollars and donors to Franklin’s annual fund, a clear indication of alumni and parent support of Franklin’s mission and purpose. The Franklin Fund supports current operational costs at the College, allowing Franklin to grow programs and student services to address the needs of a growing student body. Some of the programs added at the College in the past year are several service leadership Academic Travels, a center for sustainability on campus, an Italian immersion program and an academic conference on law and culture hosted on campus. Total giving to Franklin, which includes the Franklin Fund and gifts to scholarships, endowment and special projects, totaled more than $1.7 million.

The Franklin Fund asks alumni, current and past parents and friends of Franklin to support the College on an annual basis. All donors are recognized in the annual report of donors as well as the Gazette. See the links below for more information on gift societies that recognize Franklin’s donors or to make your annual gift now.
