Mosler Global Economic Forum
Mr. Warren Mosler, president of Valance Corporation, is a key founder of EPIC, the Economic Policy Institutions Coalition, which is a nonpartisan forum dedicated to promoting research and public discussion of issues related to macroeconomic and monetary policies.
Several years ago, Mosler visited the Franklin campus as a guest lecturer at the invitation of Professor Andrea Terzi. Following the lecture, Mosler and Terzi kept in touch, exchanging ideas and opinions about current economics. In an effort to promote this intellectual discourse at a higher level, Mosler has provided funding to start the annual Mosler Global Economic Forum to be held at Franklin College. The funding will provide the resources needed to promote the forum, attract top speakers and produce research publications for the next three years; it will also provide funding for a public relations appointment and support a student researcher.
This exciting gift will make a significant difference for students, whose minds will be challenged through debate and dialogue and who will benefit through participation in a global forum where they can individually and personally connect with experts in the field of economics. For more information on how you can make a similar gift please contact the Office of Advancement, or to make a gift to support the Mosler Global Economic Forum, see Make a Gift.
