Peppler Assistantships Provide Seed Funding for Proposed Institute
Dr. Willem Peppler of Montagnola, Switzerland, a Trustee of Franklin College, established the Peppler Assistantships in an effort to provide seed funding for the exploration of the proposed Institute for Graduate Programs at Franklin College. The assistantships provide support in the area of research for a group of five professors who have come together to form a think-tank for the formation of a formal institute. Their vision for the institute is to focus on interdisciplinary links between the social sciences and the humanities, bringing together research, insights and methodologies from fields such as cultural studies, literature, media and communications, innovation and management studies. To learn more about assistantships and the tremendous impact this support can bring to a student and a professor, please see Assistantships or contact the Office of Advancement. May 2008
