Pascal Tone Athletic Center
Trustee Pascal Franchot Tone and his wife Lynn have established a Charitable Remainder Unitrust for the benefit of Franklin College athletics. Tone was one of the founders of the College, served as its president from 1973 to 1979 and is currently Chair of the Development Committee of the Board of Trustees. He has many passions in his life—his family, the College, the U.S. Olympic Equestrian Team and also athletics. With this Unitrust, Tone decided to combine his love of athletics and his commitment to the College. In recognition of his support and dedication to the College, the athletic facility on the North Campus has been named the Pascal Tone Athletic Center. A Charitable Remainder Unitrust (CRUT) is a trust that is traditionally funded with appreciated assets such as stocks, mutual funds, bonds or real estate. For more information about this and other types of gifts and trusts, please refer to the section on Planned Gifts or contact the Office of Advancement. May 2008
