Capital Needs

Franklin College is no longer the world’s best kept secret in international higher education! Students are applying at record levels and with this increased enrollment come increased campus needs. We seek to provide the best academic and student living experience possible, which involves continual updates, renewals, expansions and renovations to maintain our state-of-the-art classrooms, residences and instructional resources.

While Phase I of the New Residence Project is already underway, funds are still needed to complete this effort to provide a thoroughly modern living facility with an additional 127 beds for Franklin students. The College would like to provide appropriate recognition for alumni and friends who offer their philanthropic support for the residence. Donors may choose from many opportunities to name a building, suite or hall after themselves or in memory of a friend, professor or family member.

The new residence is only one of many capital needs, however. Other capital needs that will benefit our students, faculty and staff include a fitness center, auditorium, language center, science lab, art studio, library, dining facility and parking. With the support of Franklin alumni and friends the expansion of these facilities and accommodation of the enrollment increase will be possible.
