Naming Opportunities

Franklin College Switzerland would like to provide appropriate recognition for alumni and friends who contribute philanthropic support for this project. Donors may choose to have a building, suite or hall named after themselves, a beloved professor or in memory of a friend or family member. Please find below a list of available options. In addition there will be a donor recognition wall installed in the entry of the complex.

Villas

Villa 1
$1,500,000
Villa 2
$2,000,000
Villa 3
$3,000,000

Suites

Single $30,000

There will be a total of 12 single suites available when all three phases of the complex are completed—one after Phase I and an additional 11 upon the completion of Phase III. These suites provide maximum privacy for students who need fewer distractions or prefer a higher level of independence. They will include one-room studio-style living arrangements, with a bed, study space, small bathroom with shower, kitchenette and storage area.

Double
$40,000

Three double suites will be available for two students to share after the completion of Phase II of the complex. The double suites provide living accommodations for two students in an apartment-style unit. They will include a private bedroom and study space for each student, a bathroom, kitchen and living area to be shared between the two students.

Triple
$50,000

Three triple suites will be built as part of Phase II of the complex. These apartment-style suites will accommodate three students on one level. They will provide private rooms combined with a shared living and kitchen space and two complete bathrooms and will overlook the piazza in the center of the three villas.

Quad
$60,000

Eighteen quad suites will be built throughout the three phases of construction. Two of the quad apartments, built in Phase II, will offer dual-level living spaces housing two students in private rooms on one floor and two students in private rooms on the floor immediately below, sharing a kitchen and living area and two complete bathrooms. The remaining quad apartments will be on one level with private bedrooms for four students, two full bathrooms, a large kitchen and shared living space.

Quint
$70,000

Two quint suites will be built as part of Phase I. The first quint will be a dual-level apartment, featuring five private bedrooms, three on one level and two on a second level. A spiral staircase will join the two floors and the apartment will include three bathrooms and a shared kitchen and living area. The second quint will be located on one level with five private bedrooms, two complete bathrooms, a kitchen and shared living space.

Hex
$80,000

Three hex suites, accommodating six students, will be built in Phase I and Phase II. The Phase I suite will be a dual-level apartment with three private bedrooms, kitchen, large living area and two bathrooms on one floor and two private bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a private bedroom with en suite bath and small living area on the second floor. Phase II will offer two hex suites that are essentially two triples with a single entrance. The two-level apartments will each have three private bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living area and kitchen on each of the two levels. These units will overlook the piazza

Halls

Hall
$100,000 - $300,000

The new villas will contain multiple floors or halls accommodating from five to ten students. These halls will provide community environments similar to small villages where students can enjoy social interaction, study together and work on group programs and projects. In these “pods” students will form international multicultural friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime.

Other

Piazza
$500,000

A piazza will be built in the center of the three-building complex, providing a large open green space that we are certain will become a student gathering place, hosting picnics, naps, impromptu football scrimmages and of course the occasional lawn party. This area will be beautifully landscaped and a highly visible meeting place on campus

Language Center
$500,000
Recognition Plaque
$1,000 - 30,000
