Franklin Villa Society

The Franklin College Villa Society takes its name from the villas that have been part of Franklin College’s history since its founding. Kaletsch Campus, with the Main Villa, is the current location the College uses as a classroom building and for administrative offices. Villa Sassa was the main campus villa for 12 years until 1986. Villa Ferrari was used in the early years from 1971 to 1974. Villa Cirla was the original building in which Franklin College was housed in 1970 after the college was founded. The higher level of Founder’s Associates recognizes the largest gifts leading the way at Franklin.

The Franklin Villa Society offers annual memberships to alumni, parents and friends who support the College with a gift of $1,000 or more. Annual membership and recognition are based on an individual’s personal gifts and any corporate matching gifts received in a single year. Annual membership is attained with the following gifts:

  • For alumni in the classes of 2003 and earlier and all parents and friends of the university, a gift of $1,000 or more
  • For alumni in the classes of 2004-2008, a gift of $100 or more for each year since graduation*

Franklin’s mission is “to provide a multicultural and international academic environment within which students acquire the essential knowledge and critical, creative and analytical abilities necessary to attain success in their chosen careers and to live culturally enriched and rewarding lives.” Upon graduating, Franklin students truly become global citizens, continuing to give back to the world and Franklin.  In so many ways, graduates participate in the growth and nurturing of the multicultural education Franklin has helped provide, not the least of which is that of supporting the students who follow by giving both of themselves and philanthropically to the College each year.
