Faculty Needs
Franklin faculty provide the mentorship and academic leadership that guide students through their studies and personal growth. Professors at Franklin must be individuals with a wide range of talents that include both the capacity to overcome the challenges of teaching in a diverse, international environment and the ability to awaken the students' curiosity toward a particular area of study. Attracting scholars with these qualities is a challenge that requires support from Franklin stakeholders. Participation of alumni and friends in the establishment of new resources for the recruitment and retention of professors will allow Franklin to ensure a prestigious academic preparation for its present and future students. Support for faculty can be offered in various ways. Franklin seeks to create two Academic Chair positions for the development of research and curricula. Professorships provide support for salary, research, program development and curriculum development.
