Academic Chairs

A key component of a world-class college or university is a commitment to an investment in academic talent coupled with strong academic leadership. We aim to implement the Chair to attract academic talent that can demonstrate a passion for teaching and inspire a thirst for knowledge in our students while utilizing cutting-edge research and pedagogic techniques. Chair holders would be engaged in enhancing research capacities, strengthening curricula and promoting interdisciplinary use of resources. The establishment of two academic Chairs would allow us to attract new talent in addition to retaining existing talent. The Chairs would be used to fill open positions or to supplement and complement existing positions.
