Adopt a Student

Do you ever relive the feeling that you had when you first arrived in Lugano? Remember the beautiful lake and surrounding gardens, and the buzz of excitement of meeting new and diverse friends from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and America? How would it feel once again to experience all of that and more? It's possible—through the eyes of a current Franklin College student and participation in the Adopt-a-Student Initiative. This program allows you to help fulltime students overcome some of the financial hurdles that may make it difficult or impossible to complete their studies at Franklin College.

The number one reason that students leave Franklin College before completion of their degree is related to financial circumstances. Last year the financial need for eligible Franklin College students far exceeded the available financial aid allocation. By "adopting" a student, a donor can realize triple benefits including, but not limited to, the following:

• The joy of providing help to an eligible student and truly making a difference for that individual
  
• The excitement of reliving some of your Franklin memories through the eyes of a new generation
• Support for the College in attracting and retaining our best and brightest students
