Assistantships
Most Franklin College professors teach six or seven different classes throughout the school year in addition to planning an Academic Travel course. This requires a tremendous amount of research, preparation, organization and patience, especially with no administrative help. Assistantships are part-time jobs in campus departments that provide financial support and valuable work experience for students and a much needed helping hand for professors.
Assistantships can be general in nature or may be specified for a particular professor, department or area of study. They are awarded on a competitive basis, and any student who meets the minimum academic requirements may apply.
Annual Named Assistantship: $3,000 per semester/ $6,000 per year
