Franklin is excited to welcome a new food service provider to campus.
From regional and international specialties to vegetarian cuisine, the Grotto and the North Campus Dining Room will serve a large variety of healthy, tasty and fresh food options using local, fair trade and sustainable products. The Grotto The Grotto, FC’s "grab and go" eatery located on the Kaletsch Campus (main campus), is a place to regroup and chill out in a relaxing, laidback atmosphere. At the Grotto, you can use your meal chip, cash or credit card to purchase coffee, drinks, snacks and a wide variety of other food items, including burgers and veggie burgers, salads, pasta, wraps and a daily special. The Grotto is open periodically for "FC After Dark" with special programming provided through the Student Government Association (SGA) and for other evenings as scheduled by student clubs. The Grotto offers staging, lighting and sound systems to accommodate dances, karaoke, bingo, poetry readings and any other events organized by members of the Franklin community. | The North Campus Dining Hall The North Campus Dining Hall is a full-service dining room offering a wide variety of local and international cuisine. All food that is served in the North Campus Dining Hall is freshly prepared every day. North Campus Dining Hall Hours:

All first year students are required to participate in the Full Meal Plan for their first two semesters at Franklin. Money paid for Full Meal Plan Chips cannot be rolled over from semester to semester. To pay by credit card or for more information on ways to pay, please see Payment Options. Open Account An Open Account Meal Chip can be purchased for a minimum of 100 CHF. When you make a first-time purchase of 500 CHF on an Open Account Meal Chip, you will receive a bonus of 10% (an additional 50 CHF on your chip). From this point on, you can receive a bonus of 10% each time you top off your card with a minimum of 300 CHF. Money on Open Account Meal Chips is valid for Fall and Spring Semesters, but will not roll over into summer. All Meal Chip holders can purchase the Plate of the Day plus a drink for a special price at either campus dining location. All other items can be purchased à la carte.
