Student Programming Board
The Student Programming Board was established in the fall semester of 2006 with the hopes of encouraging students to have a more active role in planning and facilitating events throughout the academic year. Weekly meetings are held where students come together to discuss and organize events and trips on and around campus. It’s important to point out that all students are a part of the Student Programming Board, and if they want to be involved it’s as simple as coming to the meetings and voicing their opinions. As a whole, the Student Programming Board is formed by the Executive Council, Liaisons, and the General Student Assembly. The Executive Council is comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. There is one Liaison for each of the residences, as well as one At-Large, and one to the Staff and Faculty. The General Assembly encompasses the rest of the student body. Mission Statement: The purpose of the Student Programming Board shall be: To encourage and facilitate the interests of the student body of Franklin College Switzerland; to encourage and facilitate student involvement in cultural events and explorations, community participation, to foster intramural activities and to meet the needs of the student body and the numerous organizations thereof; The Student Programming Board hopes to meet these challenges and create open venues.
