Guidelines for Living More Sustainably
at Franklin College
There are many ways that we can live our lives more sustainably and make a difference by reducing the effect of carbon gas emissions and other pollutants. Often the first step is becoming more aware of our own affect on our planet. Part of the Center for Sustainability Initiatives (CSI) at Franklin College’s mission is to promote sustainability through greater awareness of options we have in our daily lives as well as to make more options readily available to members of the Franklin and surrounding community.
The following resources provide some information about ways to live more sustainably in Lugano and the surrounding area. We hope that the following pages can help Franklin students, faculty and staff to become more informed and to adopt practices that will reduce the ecological footprint of Franklin College as a whole.
