The view from Franklin is extraordinary. Every day our students look out on Lugano, the Swiss Alps, and spectacular Lake Lugano, which links Switzerland and Italy. Lugano is a place where cultures meet, overlap and intermingle. French, German and English are likely to be heard on the streets, in addition to the city’s native Italian. As for the mountains and the lake, where should we begin?
